New movies this weekend include The Big Short (Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Brad Pitt), Concussion (Will Smith), Daddy’s Home (Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell), Joy (Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper), Point Break (Luke Bracey, Edgar Ramirez), The Hateful Eight (Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh), Where to Invade Next (Michael Moore), and 45 Years (Charlotte Rampling, Tom Courtenay). The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth)

For the fourth straight week, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 is at the top of the box office. Over the weekend, it grossed $11.4 million over the weekend. In the Heart of the Sea opened to a disappointing second place with $11.1 million. The Good Dinosaur remained in third place with $10.3 million. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone), Victor Frankenstein (James McAvoy, Daniel Radcliffe), The Danish Girl (Eddie Redmayne, Alicia Vikander), Iraqi Odyssey (documentary), Submerged (Cody Christian), Janis: Little Girl Blue (documentary), and Killing Them Safely (documentary). I’m a fan of the Rocky series, so Creed is at the top of my list. The Good Dinosaur (review) also looks interesting. I’m sure the new Pixar film will be a big hit with families. The Odds are in The Hunger Games Favor at the Box Office

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 (Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth)

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 opened in first place, but the gross was lower than previous Hunger Games openings. Over the weekend, the final installment of The Hunger Games brought in $102.7 million. Spectre dropped to second place again with $15.0 million.
