Exodus: Gods & Kings (Christian Bale)

It’s Friday! Finally. I don’t know about you guys, but at the end of the week, I like to relax with a Blu-ray movie or two. BTW, have you heard of Fox’s Movie Night initiative? Their initiative encourages friends, couples and families to watch a Fox film one night a week as an affordable alternative to a trip to the theater. Sounds good to me. I have four kids, so I like saving money. Do you know what else sounds good? How about a giveaway! Thanks to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, I’m giving away the new Exodus: Gods & Kings Blu-ray Combo Pack on my movie blog. Exodus is available now on DVD, Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D. Continue reading to find out how you can enter my contest.

Exodus: Gods & Kings Synopsis

From Ridley Scott, the acclaimed director of Gladiator, comes the epic adventure Exodus: Gods & Kings, the story of one man’s daring courage to take on the might of an empire. Using state of the art visual effects and engrossing 3D immersion, Exodus: Gods & Kings brings new life to the story of the defiant leader Moses as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses, setting 400,000 slaves on a monumental journey to escape Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues. The Exodus: Gods & Kings Blu-ray 3D Collector’s Edition comes with a cavalcade of bonus materials that will take you behind the scenes of the amazing retelling of the historical tale. The Keepers of the Covenant documentary explains how Ridley Scott brought ancient Egypt to life with hours of never-before-seen peeks at the film’s development.

  1. Yeah, I agree. My favorite religious-themed movie is The Passion of the Christ. I had tears in my eyes during the scenes of Jesus being whipped, and being crucified.

  2. leave a comment about your favorite religious-themed movie.

that would have to be Moses with chuck heston thank you

  3. I love all kinds of religious movies but my favorite so far has been The Passion of the Christ.

  4. My daughter really wants to see this movie, she said it is like the Ten Commandments a movie we both love :)

  5. My favorite of all time is The Ten Commandments. I have watched that every year since I was a kid.

  6. I actually liked the Prince of Egypt quite a bit. Made for some stunning artwork, and the Steve Martin/Martin Short duet was awesome.

  7. Bill Maher’s “Religulous” is my favorite, with “Passion of the Christ” a close second.

  8. I have to go with “The Greatest Story Ever Told”. Although, Jesus Christ Superstar is a guilty pleasure.

  9. I have a number but I’ll have to settle on The Passion of the Christ. I actually saw that in the theater.

  10. I watched this one at the theater. It is so hard to find a Biblical movie that would be “best” because most of them are not accurate. I did really like God’s Not Dead. Thank you
