Jingle All The Way 2 Blu-ray

The kids and I recently watched Jingle All the Way 2. The movie is about two dads who are trying to win the affection of their daughter. The film was very predictable, but we still enjoyed the movie. In my opinion, Jingle All the Way 2 is a wonderful holiday film for the entire family. Jingle All the Way 2 is available now on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD — just in time for the holidays!

Six Things About Jingle All the Way 2

  1. Rich dad vs poor dad
The main character of the movie is Larry. He has a daughter who he loves very much. But he’s also divorced and his ex-wife recently remarried a very wealthy man. Even though the new stepdad is rich, he feels he still has to compete for his stepdaughter’s affection. So when the stepdad learns what his stepdaughter wants for Christmas (Harrison the talking bear), he hatches a plan to get the toy and prevent Larry from getting the same toy. Meanwhile, Larry is going from store to store trying to get the toy. But everywhere he goes, the toy is sold out.

  2. Jingle All the Way is a sequel
The movie is a sequel to the original Jingle All the Way. That film was released back in 1996 and starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. I actually saw the original many years ago. I don’t remember much from the first movie, other than Arnold was in it and he was desperate to get the toy that his kid wanted for Christmas. The sequel has the same story idea, but as far as I can tell, it isn’t connected to the first film in any way.

  3. The story is very predictable, yet very enjoyable
As I mentioned previously, the movie is very predictable. I had no problem correctly guessing what was going to happen next. But even though the film is predictable, my children and I still enjoyed the story. I think it’s probably because the main character is essentially a giant teddy bear. You can’t help but like the guy even though he doesn’t exactly make good decisions.

  4. There are a bunch of extra features
Jingle All the Way 2 is about 93 minutes long. However, both the Blu-ray and DVD includes several special features:

    • Deleted Scenes
    • Christmas Catastrophes
    • Harrison the Bear TV Commercial
    • Santa Santino
    • Christmas Wishes
    • Harrison the Bear: An Exclusive Interview
    • Reindeer Riding at Roosters Tavern
    • Black Friday PSA
    • Sneak Peak
  5. The film stars Larry the Cable
The cast of Jingle All the Way 2 includes Larry the Cable Guy/Daniel Lawrence Whitney (Larry), Brian Stepanek (Victor Baxter), Anthony Carelli/Santino Marella (Claude), Kennedi Clements (Noel), Kirsten Robek (Trish), Maria J. Cruz (disgruntled woman), Jesse Filkow (boy in toy store), Matty Finochio (Jeffery), Henry Mah (disgruntled man), Lindsay Maxwell (attractive employee), Meredith McGeachie (Janie), David Milchard (frustrated dad), Gracyn Shinyei (Little G), R. David Stephens (parishioner), and Alex Zamm (voice of Harrison the talking bear). The film was directed by Alex Zamm.

  6. Jingle All the Way 2 is rated PG
The film is rated PG for mild rude humor. I don’t remember anything inappropriate for children. I think the movie is fine for the entire family.
