Fargo Remastered Blu-ray Giveaway

Fargo Remastered Blu-ray

Thanks to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, I’m giving away a copy of the remastered Fargo Blu-ray on my movie blog. I saw the film many years ago, and I thought it was a great story with excellent acting. The movie stars William H. Macy and Frances McDormand. The Fargo Remastered Edition is available now on Blu-ray.

Fargo Synopsis

The “middle of nowhere” has never looked better in this new edition, now remastered for the best high-definition picture yet! In this film nominated for seven OSCARS, things go terribly awry when small-time Minnesota car salesman Jerry Lundegaard (William H. Macy) hires two thugs (Steve Buscemi and Peter Stormare) to kidnap his wife so he can collect the ransom from his wealthy father-in-law. Once people start dying, the very chipper and very pregnant Police Chief Marge (Frances McDormand) takes the case. Will she stop at nothing until she gets her man? You betcha.

  1. The river. It’s this place out in the woods in Mississippi where my husband first proposed.

  2. My favorite middle of nowhere place is the cottage on Lake Michigan where I spent much of my childhood.

  3. Steeles Tavern, VA. It’s where my wife and I got engaged and where we used to go back to on our anniversary every year until we left the east coast.

  4. i say…. goose bay labrador.nice in the spring..wouldnt want to live there year round

  5. Kampangphet, Thailand. Off the beaten track. Few tourists. A great off the beaten track place.

  6. a nearby state park, after walking through the woods for 15 minutes feels like your in the middle of nowhere

  7. My favorite middle of nowhere place would have to be my best friends cabin up in the middle of Maine — it’s secluded, miles from any signs of civilization, and full of amazing signs of nature.

  8. My favorite middle of nowhere place is my hometown in Maine. There is nothing close for miles and miles and only has a population of a few hundred.

  9. My favorite middle of nowhere place is a used bookstore in Wilmington, NC. It is tucked into the corner of a strip mall on a cut through street. Whenever I go to Wilmington I always go there to find some good deals on used books. I am usually the only person in the store no matter what day or time I go. I really don’t know how the store stays in business, but I’m glad it’s there. I haven’t been able to get down to Wilmington in about a year so I hope it will still be there when I go later this year.
