The off-again, on-again, off-again Justice League movie is now on again. That’s right, there will be a Justice League movie. According to multiple sources, Warner Bros. will release Batman vs. Superman in 2016 and then roll out the Justice League movie in either 2017 or 2018. Both movies are expected to feature Superman (Henry Cavill), Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).
A script has not been written yet, and there is no word on what other superheroes will be in the Justice League movie. However, the studio has been casting for the part of Cyborg (Ray Fisher?). The half-robot, half-man superhero is expected to have a cameo in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie and might also appear in the Justice League film. Some other superheroes in the Justice League comic books include Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Man-Hunter and Green Arrow. Both the Justice League and Batman vs Superman movies will be directed by Zack Snyder (Man of Steel).
Warner Bros. also has several other movies in development unconnected to the Justice League that are based on DC superheroes. Two of these projects include Shazam and Metal Men. In addition, Wonderwoman might have her own spin-off if her character is a hit with audiences in the Batman vs. Superman and Justice League movies.
